    She was born in the US and spent her life in Paraguay surrounded by art thanks to her father. She studied Design in New Orleans, Jewelry Design in Barcelona, and Gemology in New York. In her works her Paraguayan heritage is blended with contemporary art. Everything is handmade in 18k gold to convey the sense of uniqueness her culture deserves.

È aperto il nuovo bando di Artistar Jewels 2019

È ufficialmente aperto il bando 2019 per la sesta edizione di Artistar Jewels, progetto dedicato allo scouting internazionale dei talenti del gioiello contemporaneo d’autore, di design e d’artista.

Interviewing YJ Lin

The studio portrays sisterhood strengthened with love of jewelry. Yi-Chen, based in NYC, received a BFA Jewelry at Pratt Institute. Ji-Ru is pursuing a Master in Jewelry and Related Products at BCU, UK. They were born and raised in Taiwan, inspiring each other in the jewelry community from across the world.

Interviewing Venetucci Rosamaria - Formedarte

Ranging between the different creative expressions and approaching goldsmith, which she has been teaching for years. She defines herself as a creative person, metalworker, fascinated by geometric shapes, which she uses in her collections that sprout from her soul way before her mind. Jewels with a name and a story to tell.

She tries to recover the energetic spirit of the Andes, with ancient techniques, colors, and textures, bringing them to a contemporary present: fragmented, multiple, modern. For her, a jewel is not something accessory; it is something essential. A jewel as a portal, a talisman, an amulet; a place to keep dreams alive.

Interviewing Annie Gobel

Indonesian born and a Melbourne based contemporary artist her practice includes contemporary jewellery making. Annie has been drawing inspiration from her childhood times. Toys, art activities and features of her drawings influence the making decisions while blending an intuitive way of working – childlike.

Interviewing Michele Benjamin

Her jewelry collection is inspired by an appreciation for fine art and nature. Her “Bees” are in the Whitney Museum Shop. Her artistic designs are certified “Made in New York” of sustainable sterling silver. She earned a BA in Art History from Arizona State University with post-graduate studies at Parsons School of Design.
