Master of filigree work, owner of the workshop Fili in Telemark, Norway, she had a traditional education with a master's apprenticeship and holds a bachelor's degree in folk art. She uses her traditional background to create new playful jewelry with old forms. From tradition to fashion.

- When did you start dedicating yourself to the world of contemporary jewelry?
From the very beginning of my education I have been playing with excitement and developing contemporary jewelry. I have a classical education in the field of filigran. With proper vocational education and a creative mind as a combination - it will result in more modern jewelry than these traditional ones. I started my education in 1999.
 
- What do you take inspiration from when you start creating a new collection?
There may be so different things. - traditional expressions, heritage, nature, music, graffiti, travel...
 
- What kind of work or material do you prefer?
I work mostly in silver.
 
 
- What are your points of reference in the world of contemporary jewelry and art?
We have some norwegian artists like Konrad Mehus and Tone Wigeland. Those are surely my points of reference!
 
- Three words with which you would describe the Artistar Jewels project.
Progressive - Innovative and Brave.
 
- What do you think of the jewels that were on show this year? Have you been fascinated by any particular creation?
An incredibly varied selection of jewelry. Tried to see all of these jewels from all over the world with their different expressions, material use and technique choices. I like good jewelry as there is a technical challenge behind. Enamel for example.
 
- How would you define the atmosphere created on the 22nd and 23rd February nights of Artistar Jewels 2018?
It was amazing. Especially the evening only for the artists. We could talk and connect contacts.
 
- What were the services / opportunities that most pushed you to participate in the event?
This was a great opportunity to show my urge on an exhibition of modern jewelry. And of course a very good occasion during Milan fachion week.
