Fusion between tradition and contemporary world

Nahiot Hernandez, Architecht and designer, creative and passionate of art. Born in Venezuela and since 2011 in Italy, she begins a second creative path, this time in the field of fashion, creating clothes and accessories for Italian high fashion. From there begins her passion for jewels, and decides to begin her career in this area.
 
 
His jewelery production is a way of expressing her perception of the world and his beauty.Her design is characterized by the use of geometric forms, by searching for conventional materials (different depending on the formal aspect that she want to obtain from each one) through their elaboration generate innovative pieces.
 
 
Another overwhelming aspect is the use of color, or rather the absence of it. Reduced chromaticity to the exterior has the goal of focusing all attention on the formal aspect by concentrating emotions. Each piece is thought of as a small art piece made with different essence, in which is used a combination of knowledge, feelings consciousness and heart. Here, the process of transformation of the matter release a sense of identity and a touch of life imprinted in the material, shape and color.
 
 
One of her most recent work was born with the aim of to release her origins, leaving aside the formal aspects that characterize it and reinterpret her cultural legacy.
 
 
Inspired by the Venezuelan indigenous tribes, Ispirata nelle tribù indigene venezuelane, (Yanomami and Timotocuicas) it’s been created a series of van uard pieces that represent fusion of tradition and cutting edge fashion trends.
 
 
The utilization of the feathers are the main focus of the collection, representing the people and their ancestral attire. The feathers that naturally represent the vast color of nature, are reinterpreted by the artist with a minimalistic concept , rather monochromatic. Adding to the pieces a sophisticated touch, without taking away its majestic essence.
