He was born in Riga. He graduated from the Art School of Riga and from the University of Arts in Tallinn. He has attended many fairs across Europe and he won the Fabergé Prize at the jewelry fair in St. Petersburg. He uses both silver and gold in his works as well as stones, ancient roman coins and mammoth bone. He is inspired by the Egyptian, Roman and Viking art. All pieces are unique.
