midzo jewellery by the croatian sculptor Ivan Midzic is hand crafted in various metals respecting their nature. Jewellery is Ivan's platform for creating always new, strong and interesting models. While exhibiting conceptual works, jewellery has kept him conected with pure fine arts as his first subject of study. Therefore, one can find abundance of the same artistic urge and energy in Ivan’s jewellery as in his drawings and sculptures.

Considering the fact he approaches his jewelry more as a sculptor than as a designer, he finds it difficult to talk about a collection. Particular pieces of his jewelry originate one from another following the logic of the shape. Only then, when a jewelry piece follows that logic, it becomes an independent object that can present his work. When this happens, he includes it into an exhibition or a fashion show combining different pieces into sort of a collection.
