Da autodidatta intraprende un percorso creativo completamente nuovo, subendo il fascino potente per la lavorazione dei metalli.

"Inizialmente era il "wirework" la tecnica che usavo per creare i miei gioielli, utilizzando filo d'argento e di rame di vario diametro, pinze, cutter, martelli. Il passo successivo fu la lavorazione anche con le lamine metalliche, quindi altre tecniche, altri esperimenti, ancora tanta pratica e sempre da autodidatta. Ancora oggi non uso saldature, sarebbe quasi come l'interruzione di un processo creativo troppo stimolante per essere abbandonato, ciò che non è saldato deve essere in qualche modo agganciato, trattenuto e sufficientemente robusto per poter essere indossato e durare nel tempo."
