Donata Trincianti, Valentina Terzoni e Tiziana Fossati, tre artiste con percorsi creativi diversi in ambito pittorico, scultoreo e di design, accomunate dalla grande passione per i Gioielli d’Autore, danno vita a PeggyArte. La scelta del nome s’ispira a Peggy Guggenheim, la celeberrima mecenate e collezionista d’arte, grande appassionata di Gioielli d’Autore.
Donata Trincianti, Valentina Terzoni and Tiziana Fossati, three artists with different creative paths in painting, sculpture and design, joined in their passion for the Art Jewelry, create PeggyArte. The choice of the name is inspired by Peggy Guggenheim, the famous patron and art collector, a great lover of Jewels of Author.
Il desiderio di stupire attraverso forme originali, talvolta anche di grandi dimensioni ma di estrema leggerezza, le conduce a sperimentare materiali e tecniche artistiche quali le resine epossidiche e il papier mâché, trovando in quest’ultima la chiave per esprimere al meglio “la loro concezione d’Arte”.
The desire to impress through original forms, sometimes even huge but extremely light, makes them testing materials and artistic techniques such as epoxy resins and papier mâché, finding in this last one the key to better express "their Art conception”.
Donata reinterpreta l’antica Arte del Papier Mâché con una moderna, continua ed elaborata sperimentazione sulla tecnica consolidata in tanti anni, Valentina esalta il Design con linee leggere, ricercate e razionali, Tiziana bilancia sapientemente i pieni e i vuoti dei gioielli, rendendoli equilibrati e armoniosi. Il risultato finale è la somma di queste diverse individualità, complementari tra loro, che rendono le creazioni PeggyArte uniche nel loro genere, ricche di forza e bellezza espressiva.
Donata reinterprets the ancient art of Papier Mâché with a modern, continuous and complex experimentation on this technique consolidated in many years, Valentina enhances the design with light, precious and rational lines, Tiziana expertly balances the voids and fulness of the jewels, making them stable and harmonious. The final result is the sum of these different individualities, complementary to each other, making the creations PeggyArte unique in their own style, full of strength and expressive beauty.
In questi ultimi anni si dedicano esclusivamente allo studio del Gioiello Contemporaneo, creando una linea di pezzi unici, principalmente realizzata in Papier Mâché, spesso impreziosita da dorature realizzate con l’antica tecnica (risalente al 1200) “a guazzo”. Da una materia estremamente povera come la carta, nascono gioielli unici, micro sculture da indossare che parlano direttamente all’anima di chi le indossa.
In recent years, they are exclusively focused on the study of contemporary jewelery, creating a line of unique pieces, mainly made by Papier Mâché, often embellished with gilding made with the ancient technique (dating from 1200) of "Guazzo". From an extremely poor material such as paper, comes out a unique jewelry, wearable micro-sculptures that speak directly to the soul of who is wearing them.
